Senegal Secures €300 million in Funding to Expand Blaise Diagne International Airport
Senegal has successfully secured €300 million (approximately $326.2 million) in funding for the expansion of the Blaise Diagne International Airport (AIBD). These funds will be allocated towards increasing the airport's annual passenger capacity by 40% and constructing a dedicated cargo terminal, with the overarching goal of positioning the airport as a premier aviation hub in West Africa by 2035.
